Mina Marien is a Google for Education Certified Innovator and Trainer and a tech coach specializing in AI in classroom instruction. She currently serves as a Technology Integration Specialist at Evanston Township High School (ETHS). She regularly attends and presents at educational conferences and works with local schools to provide training and professional development on leveraging technology to maximize teaching and learning. She has ample experience in AI, Google Workspace, E-Learning, EdTech Tools, and Chromebooks. Before working in EdTech, Mina served as an instructional coach for the World Languages department and taught Latin at ETHS. She began her teaching career teaching Latin to middle school students.
Mina earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Northwestern University, where she studied Latin/Classics, Animate Arts (computer programming, digital art, and video game design), and Education. She also holds an advanced certificate in Educational Technology Leadership from DeVry University. She holds an Illinois teaching license with endorsements in Latin, Art, and Technology.
Mina was born and raised in Chicago, where she currently lives with her husband and two sons. In her free she enjoys gardening, cooking, and beekeeping, which she documents through her Jamco Farms Instagram account, @jamcofarms. She is also active in her community and serves as the president of the board and social committee chair for her local neighborhood organization, Ravenswood Manor Improvement Association.
